Colin Farrell is following in the footsteps of his True Detective predecessor once again by becoming the face of a new D&G fragrance.
The Dubliner will promote Dolce & Gabbana's new fragrance for men, called Intenso.
It seems that it is all smelling of roses for the Castleknock actor of late.
He landed a lead role in the runaway hit True Detective for the shows second season, taking up where Matthew McConaughey left off.
Now he will front a worldwide campaign for the famous fashion house.
In a statement the designers behind the powerhouse brand expressed delight at having the In Bruges actor on board.
"We are incredibly happy to be working with such a great talent. When we created this fragrance we immediately thought of Colin," said Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
"He is the perfect embodiment of male strength and sensuality," they added.
The 38-year-old actor was spotted filming an ad for D&G earlier in the year, but it wasn't clear what his role was with the company until now.
Farrell let slip that he had cinched a role in the dark police drama before creators HBO confirmed the cast.
In a role that is a far cry from his Ballykissangel days, the dad of one will play a shady detective in the midst of a corruption scandal.
His character, Ray Velcoro, is plagued with divided loyalties between his corrupt department and the mob bosses who own him according to HBO.
He will star alongside Delivery Man star Vince Vaughn in the second season as part of a brand new cast, which is also rumoured to include Rachel McAdams.
The show received a whopping 12 Emmy nominations for its debut season, with McConaughey and co-star Woody Harrelson at the helm.
