AIRCOACH has made a €3m investment in a fleet connecting Dublin and Cork.
Ten new coaches were rolled out on the express route yesterday, giving a journey time of just three hours.
Passenger volumes on the route have already grown by more than 50pc over the last year.
Managing director Allen Parker said the new buses show the firm's "commitment to continue to deliver high-quality services aimed at attracting more customers to public transport".
The Dublin-Cork service operates 36 departures per day, seven days a week and runs via the motorway.
The vehicles – all Volvo B11Rs – are fuel-efficient, have wheelchair access, onboard toilet facilities, wi-fi and additional plug and USB charging points.
