Model Nicola Hughes has struck up a cosy friendship with Made in Chelsea's bad boy Alex Mytton, the Diary can reveal.
She has set tongues wagging that she could become the first Irish model to feature on the hit E4 reality show after Alex invited her over to London for a fun weekend.
And Nicola (23) said that he was a "really nice guy" and nothing like the womanising lothario he plays on the show, where viewers saw him breaking Binky's heart.
Although she added that she's not a fan of the reality show about posh toffs living in London's most exclusive post code, she's clearly taken with spiky-haired Alex.
"I don't watch it at all. It wouldn't be my thing," she said.
"But Alex and Jamie are genuinely nice guys in person. I know they play different characters on the show but they weren't flirty when I met them. They were over in Ireland with a few of their friends so they were just having a laugh."
She and Alex are now following each other on Twitter as they get to know each other better.
The blonde beauty first met him and fellow reality star Jamie Laing during their appearance at the Naas Court Hotel on the August bank holiday weekend.
They obviously hit it off as a week later, Alex invited Nicola over to attend an air show in the UK town of Eastbourne.
The pair posted a photo of them travelling in a car to the show, with a grinning Nicola sitting in the backseat beside Alex.
He has overtaken Spencer Matthews in the role of the show's bad-boy after repeatedly cheating on girlfriend Binky.
However, Nicola insists that she's "still single" and is concentrating on her career for now.
She recently quit her hostessing job in Dandelion Bar as she said it was interfering with her modelling.
"I was missing out on all the festivals and a lot of jobs," she said.
Sandyford-native Nicola has also been named as one of the stars in a proposed Canadian-based programme being made for RTE.
She's one of seven wannabes who are tipped to be travelling to Vancouver as part of a fly-on-the-wall show being made by Straywave Media.
Entitled Exiles, it will see them following the young hopefuls as they try to make a new life for themselves in the Canadian city.
Asked about the latest on the show, she replied: "It's looking like it's still on the cards. I haven't signed a contract yet but fingers crossed."
