Dublin actress Tara Lee has had a busy few months filming her first feature film and now she's set to release a new album.
The 20-year-old actress and musician is currently splitting her time between London and Dublin as she works on her music career.
"My new album is slightly more produced than the last one, there's a music video that we just finished shooting for it as well and it should come out within the next month or so on my new label," she told the Diary.
Tara is known for her role on TV show Raw but has since starred in The Fall, appeared in Sinead O'Connor's music video and shot her new film A Date For Mad Mary.
Tara plays Jess in the movie, which sees Mary McArdle return to Drogheda after a short spell in prison - for something she'd rather forget.
When she gets home everything has changed and her best friend, Charlene, is about to get married and Mary is the Maid of Honour.
When Charlene refuses Mary a plus one for the wedding, on the grounds that she probably couldn't find a date, Mary is determined to prove her wrong. So she throws herself into the local dating scene.
"Jess is someone who's just starting to find herself. Though she appears confident and popular on the outside, she's always been a bit of a lone wolf," she revealed. "I get to sing a bit, which is awesome."
A Date For Mad Mary is due out this year, as is another film Tara has been working on but she can't reveal any details of just yet.
"I have a film coming up in the summer, I can't actually say what it is just yet but it should be good. It's an English film. I'm living between Dublin and London at the moment, month by month," she said.
With all the travelling, Tara is thinking about a full-time move to the US. "I consider it all the time - I'd like to travel, and given how much I love LA and New York, I'm sure at some stage I'll live there for a bit," she revealed.
Naturally with Fifty Shades of Grey being released at the weekend, Tara is always quizzed about what Jamie Dornan is like but she admits she didn't get to spend much time with the Northern Irish actor.
"He's a really sweet person. He's a great actor, he's talented and yes he's very good looking," she admits.
"I only got to speak with him for like an hour one day, we only had one scene together so it was just kind of like looking at photos of his daughter on his phone."
