Tesco's new Irish CEO

TESCO Ireland has appointed a new CEO. PJ Clarke, who currently holds a senior position for Tesco in the UK, will move to his new role in July.

He succeeds Tony Keohane, who is due to become chairman of Tesco Ireland after serving for seven years as CEO.

Mr Keohane began his retail career with Quinnsworth as a management trainee in 1978 before progressing through the ranks.

Tesco Ireland employs 15,000 staff across its 142 Irish stores.
