Terror arrests at fishing port Man (23) had drugs in court

Spanish police moved in to arrest two suspected members of Basque separatist group Eta in northern Spain and discovered a hidden cache of explosives and bomb-making equipment.

Basque regional police said in a statement that the two men were arrested on suspicion of belonging to Eta.

The arrests and explosives find happened in the Basque fishing port of Ondarroa where a car bomb explosion which was blamed on Eta injured 10 people on September 21, 2008.

Man (23) had drugs in court

A man who was caught with drugs at Tallaght District Court is to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

David Evan (23) of Sundale Villas, Tallaght pleaded guilty to possession of heroin for sale or supply at the court on December 1, 2008.

Judge Katherine Delahunt remanded Evans in custody until his sentence date next June, when is expected that all of the full facts will be heard.
