TEENS celebrating the Junior Cert results tonight were warned to be "extra vigilant" after a girl was beaten up by a sex attacker.
The 18-year-old was savagely punched in the head by the man as she walked home after a night out. He tried to sexually assault her.
The screaming victim was left lying on the ground with blood pouring from facial injuries.
Her nose was broken in the assault.
Investigating gardai in west Dublin today issued an appeal for help in tracking down the attacker -- who may have struck before.
The incident took place at Monastery Road in Clondalkin around 3.30am on Sunday.
The local girl was on her own when the violent attacker grabbed her and attempted to carry out an indecent assault.
