Teenage mum in 'honeytrap'

A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has been remanded on bail pending sentence for stealing from a man who was offered sex during a "honeytrap" style theft.

The mother-of-one pleaded guilty yesterday at the Dublin Children's Court to two theft charges and she has also admitted a begging offence.

The court heard the girl was one of two females who enticed a man down a lane in Dublin with an offer of sex. A gold necklace, ¤40 and his mobile phone were stolen.

Judge Ryan adjourned sentencing the teen, who is from Romania, until a date in December.

Strictly dances to X Factor tune

Viewers will be forgiven for thinking they have tuned into the wrong show this weekend as Strictly Come Dancing is due to feature a dance to one of the main themes from The X Factor.

Show bosses have lined up a performance to Carl Orff's Carmina Burana which famously features in the ITV1 singing show.

Daybreak star Richard Arnold and his partner Erin Boag are due to perform a paso doble to the tune on Saturday's show.

Gun victims are found in street

Police have found the bullet-ridden bodies of eight people dumped on streets in a suburb of Mexico City.

Officials said the victims in the first attack were five men and one woman between the ages of 20 and 25 whose bodies were found without clothes in Ecatepec, north of the capital. Two more people died in a second attack in a nearby neighbourhood.

Authorities said both attacks appeared to be related to organised crime.

Dallas star 'had gun at airport'

Actor Jack Scalia has been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after security screeners found an unloaded handgun in his carry-on bag.

Scalia (61) who had recurring roles on All My Children, Remington Steele and Dallas, was arrested yesterday afternoon in Terminal 7.

Scalia played the role of Nicholas Pearce on Dallas, who plunged to his death from a balcony following a fight with JR Ewing.
