Teen on bail over break-in

A BOY who drove a young woman from her home after he tried to break into it has been granted bail.

The boy (15) had spent the past four weeks in custody on remand in a juvenile detention centre for psychiatric, psychological and educational assessments of him to be carried out.

At the Dublin Children's Court, he was granted bail and ordered to appear again in January.

He had pleaded guilty earlier to a break-in at the woman's former home, on Eugene Street in Dublin 8 on July 22 last.
