Suicide bomb kills four in Iraq

FOUR people, including three security officers, have been killed in a suicide car bomb attack at one of the gates of Baghdad's heavily guarded Green Zone.

Iraqi officials said the explosion took place during the morning rush-hour near the bridge over Tigris River, which connects the Karradah district and the Green Zone, where the parliament and several embassies and foreign missions are located.

A hospital official said 14 people were wounded.

Actress Bynes loses car again

TV STAR Amanda Bynes had another run-in with the law when she was pulled over for driving on a suspended licence in Calfornia.

Burbank's Bob Hope Airport officials say airport police impounded her car.

Bynes' driving privileges had been suspended after she was charged with hit-and-run in connection with two traffic crashes. Bynes (26) pleaded not guilty.

Typhoon Sanba reaches Korea

A TYPHOON has lashed Japan and South Korea, with strong winds and heavy rains leaving more than 100,000 homes and businesses without power.

Typhoon Sanba was pushing northeastward and expected to move into eastern waters. The storm won't directly hit North Korea, but the country's eastern areas are expected get rain and wind from its outer bands.
