'Stunned' Brooks adds fourth Croke Park gig

COUNTY music legend Garth Brooks has admitted he is "humbled and stunned" by the demand from Irish fans as he announced a fourth Irish concert.

After selling 240,000 tickets so far for three shows at Dublin's Croke Park in July, Brooks said he is amazed that a fourth date has been added to his schedule.

The Garth Brooks Comeback Special Event will take place on July 25, 26 and 27 with the additional concert on July 28 at GAA headquarters.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday at 9am.

Hotels in the capital have already increased their price for the Monday night concert with some already booked out within two hours of the announcement being made.

"I can't explain how I feel, how joyous and nervous I feel – I'm humbled and stunned," Brooks said, speaking on RTE's The John Murray Show on Radio One this morning.
