Stars of many coats turn out for Joseph

A HOST of famous faces turned up to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre to catch the opening night of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat last night.

RTE presenters Sinead Kennedy and Joe Duffy were there alongside Eurovision veteran Linda Martin.

It was not the first time that Linda had seen the production.

"I actually remember going to see it in Dublin in the seventies because Johnny Logan was in it. It's a real feel good show," she said.

While Joe Duffy, who was accompanied to the event by his daughter, recalled seeing the show for the first time in Dublin's Gaiety theatre when Luke Kelly of the Dubliners played Pharaoh.

Also in attendance was Love/Hate's Aoibhinn McGinnity who said of the hit gangland drama: "I think the next series will be the strongest so far."
