Irish soccer ace Robbie Keane has opened up about his unusual choice in pre-match music.
The LA Galaxy player has long left Irish shores for a new life in California, but his heart - or at least his taste in music - is still at home as he revealed his fondness for homegrown singer Mary Black.
The Dublin striker admitted he shuns chart music in favour of something a little more sentimental.
"I've still got the CDs of Christy Moore in the car and Mary Black's," he said
"That's what I listen to, the likes of No Frontiers in the car on the way to training in LA."
The Tallaght native and his model wife Claudine are also big fans of an old-fashioned sing-along, with Robbie admitting he loves stepping on stage to sing his heart out.
"I don't mind a little bit of karaoke. When you're brought up in Ireland it's the normal thing and my dad was a singer," he told Today FM.
