Broadcaster Sile Seoige has been singing her heart out for charity and yesterday joined shoppers on Grafton Street for a festive sing-song.

The brunette beauty has been busy promoting her festive track Maybe This Christmas, and was signing discs outside HMV on Grafton Street and in Dundrum Town Centre yesterday afternoon.

Enjoying the festive atmosphere and singing a few songs were model Nadia Forde and singers Brian Kennedy and Declan O'Rourke.

Sile's festive track, in aid of ISPCC Childline and the Make A Wish Foundation, has been doing really well over the past few weeks and finished at number nine in the Irish iTunes downloads charts this week.

With the help of broadcaster and author Stephen Fry, the track entered the English charts and peaked at number six on the UK iTunes vocal chart.

Following on from the success of her charity single, Sile (35) has been contemplating a music career.

"It's been a total whirlwind and just so much fun getting to do what I love, which is sing, and raise loads of money," she told the Herald.

"I will definitely be looking at doing more music for sure because I've realised how much I love it - getting a taste for it makes me want more.

"Who knows what will happen, but I'll definitely be giving it some serious thought come the new year," she revealed.

While she has been promoting her own single - which she recorded with the help of some of her celebrity pals - Sile has also been supporting other charities this Christmas.

Sile and her sister Grainne (41) attended Keith Duffy's annual masquerade ball at the Powerscourt Hotel in aid of Autism Action Ireland and she also led a carol singing service for the launch of the Make A Wish Foundation's Carols for Commuters campaign.

It's been a busy few weeks for Sile and she's looking forward to some time off over the Christmas period.

"It's going to be flat out now up until Christmas Day, so I'll just be chilling, eating and visiting at home until the new year," she said.
