Shotgun attack smashes windows at city house

GARDAI have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house in Dublin. The terrifying incident happened at a house in Primrose Grove, Darndale, just after 9.45pm yesterday.



Our photo shows a living-room window which was smashed after being shot at with what is believed to have been a shotgun.

Gardai believe that two shots were blasted into the home.

The house remained sealed off this morning as gardai maintained a visible presence in the area.

It is understood that only one person was in the property at the time -- an innocent man who lives in the property and is in his early 50s.

No one was injured in the incident and a man was seen fleeing from the scene after the shots were discharged.

No arrests have been made and Coolock gardai are investigating the shooting.
