Shatter's papers rifled in burglary

THE burglar who broke into Alan Shatter's home rifled through the Justice Minister's files, it has emerged.

A writing desk in the Mr Shatter's South Dublin home was ransacked and papers thrown over the floor.

Gardai have also arrested the 43-year-old man they believe was acting as a getaway driver for the burglar.

His alleged 25-year-old accomplice was due before a sitting of Dun Laoghaire District Court today.

"The minster's writing bureau was interfered with. Drawers were pulled out and papers were scattered all over the floor," a source said.
