'Science was a bit trickier than I had expected'

Jack Kennedy (15) of Sandford Park School was pleased to see some familiar questions come up in yesterday's Science papers. He is looking forward to a summer of fun now that he has completed his exams.

"Science went well enough yesterday but some bits were slightly trickier than I had anticipated. The majority of the paper was fair but I have to admit there was some guesswork involved.

Surprisingly, the Biology question was the one I enjoyed answering the most.

Now that I'm finally finished there's a strange feeling of anticlimax. We've all been looking forward to this day but it's strange to not have to study or worry about exams for a while.

Luckily I've got plenty planned over the summer to keep me entertained. I'll be heading to Irish College down in Kerry in a couple of weeks. I'm also going on holiday with my family to Italy and visiting relatives in London.

I'm glad to be done with the Junior Cert -- but overall I was happy with the experience."
