s21.3m for charities

SOME 46 Irish companies have formed over 4,800 community partnerships and donated over €21.3m to charities.

The money is raised from cash donations and employee fundraising ventures.

This information is being captured by Business in the Community Ireland on an online interactive map entitled the Business Impact Map.

Head of funding at Ulster Bank, Doug Munro, CEO of BITC Tina Roche and Fr Peter McVerry marked the launch of the new map.
