Runaway children found safe

TWO Dublin children have been found safe and well after a night of sleeping outdoors.

The pals, aged 11 and 13, ran away from home together on Wednesday but returned last night.

Jasmine Humphrey, top left, and Patrick Quaid, top right, both live in the Foxhill Estate in Coolock, but vanished on Wednesday with just €20 and the clothes on their backs.

Their worried parents raised the alarm when they failed to return home, but they were found late last night after sleeping rough on Wednesday night.

"Thank God they're home and safe," said Jasmine's mother Jacqueline today.

It is understood that Patrick has run away from home before.
