Una Healy stunned Limerick hurling fans at the weekend when she attended a match with her new close pal, the former Shannonsiders' hurling captain David Breen.

The newly single star was at Limerick's Gaelic Grounds on Saturday with Breen, now a physiotherapist at top English rugby club Wasps.

Former The Saturdays singer Una saw Breen's club Na Piarsaigh beat Doon in the Limerick county final.

The 37-year-old beauty then accompanied the former forward and his family back to the clubhouse to enjoy the post match knees-up.

Healy, from Thurles, is said to be getting close to 33-year-old Breen, who has previously worked for Leinster and captained the Limerick hurlers in 2012.

"I asked David what he was doing with a Tipperary woman," said one supporter who was at the celebrations.

"He only started laughing. But she was very nice. She was with David and the Breen family, and they were getting on really well. They were very close.

"She was very supportive - she thought Na Piarsaigh played great. She was grinning from ear to ear. She was enjoying herself."

Since her split from rugby star Ben Foden after six years, Una has spent a lot of time back home in Ireland.

Speaking in the aftermath of the split, she said: "Life is tough, but you've got to keep a positive attitude."
