Ronan Keating: I just wasn't cut out for musical theatre and radio

He's recently done stints on the stage and airwaves, but neither are quite up crooner Ronan Keating's alley.

The Dubliner, who wed his Aussie other half Storm Uechtritz last month, was the star of West End production Once: The Musical earlier this year and he said he won't be returning to the stage unless it's for concerts and gigs.

"It was full-on doing eight shows a week for four months. I wouldn't do it again," Ronan told the Diary.

Along with dipping his toes into musical theatre, Ronan also tried his hand at breakfast radio with UK network Magic FM after they asked him to cover their 6am slot for a week back in June - a gig that didn't quite tickle his Boyzone star's fancy.

"I enjoyed being on Magic FM but the early mornings were hard. It was fun, but I wouldn't do it as a long term thing," he said.

While acting and radio are not Ronan's forte, he's busy working on a solo album at the moment while also searching for an Irish pad for him and Storm.
