ROBBERY GANG SCATTERED RIGHT ACROSS THE WORLD

THE five-man gang who were involved in the armed robbery which led to Detective Adrian Donohoe's murder a year ago on Saturday, have scattered around the globe.

The gang, which includes two brothers, are all from south Armagh.

The tragic detective was heavily involved in probing their crime activities before his death, including a number of armed robberies in Co Louth.

It is understood that the Police Service in the North have quizzed a number of the gang members, including a young woman who provided an alibi for her boyfriend.

One of the gang members left his home in south Armagh for Sydney, Australia, in the months after the shocking murder. The two brothers went to the US, and are believed to be in New York. Gardai met them there before Christmas.
