IRELAND'S hottest farmers will be stripping down once again for the 2011 Irish Farmers Calendar.
Due to the phenomenal success of last year's calendar, which saw some of Ireland's hunkiest outdoorsmen taking part in saucy photo spreads among their pitchforks and bales of hay -- next year's production is already in the works.
And passersby on Westmoreland Street were given more than they bargained for yesterday when Kevin McGonagle (23), from Monaghan, posed for shots, sporting nothing but jeans, a pitchfork and a smile.
The calendar is the brainchild of Ciara Ryan (25) from Dundrum, who described it as "serving up a slice of 100pc Irish beef for every month of 2010".
Ciara decided to create the calendar last year after she lost her job and saw a niche in the calendar market.
Although there was interest from a number of buyers, she funded the project herself and will again be donating 20pc of the profits to Bothar.
And she added that although last year's calendar went down a storm, she would be incorporating a few changes into this year's format -- with 12 brand new models.
"There are farmers from all over the country, they all applied through the web. But Irish farmers are a shy bunch so it's been quite difficult finding some models."
