CELEBRITY chef Richard Corrigan turned up the temperature at his restaurant business, cooking up a profit of almost €1m last year.
The TV chef's gourmet food group saw revenues increase by 2.7pc and pre-tax profits rise to €991,287 in the 12 months to the end of December
The star of RTE's Corrigan Knows Food increased the numbers employed at the group from 131 to 133.
The accounts just lodged with the UK-based Companies House by Richard Corrigan Restaurants Holdings Ltd, state that "the group has had a satisfactory year".
Richard (48) from Meath has gained a Michelin star in the past and also operates the award-winning Corrigan's Mayfair. The group's restaurants also include Bentley's Sea Grill at Harrods. Corrigan's Bentley's Oyster Bar & Grill in London's Piccadilly serves more oysters than any other UK restaurant.
