Research data jobs

OVER 61,000 jobs could be generated in Ireland by harnessing the benefits of big data analytics, research has shown.

The economic impact of 'big data' to the Irish economy has identified €27bn of business innovation, creation and efficiency benefits by 2017 as a result of using big data analytics, according to SAS Ireland's recent report, which is the first research of its kind to be carried out in Ireland.

The research comes as over 100 new jobs were announced for the Dublin region.

Big data digital marketing company Adara Global will take on 30 employees and web maintenance group eMaint will create 25 new jobs.
