RESCUE helicopters flew over the high slopes of a Nepal peak again today to search for climbers lost in an avalanche that killed at least nine mountaineers and injured others.
The avalanche a day earlier hit a camp with more than two dozen climbers high up the slopes of Mount Manaslu.
Police official Basanta Bahadur Kuwar said three rescue helicopters resumed the search this morning.
The bodies of a Nepalese guide and a German man were recovered yesterday and rescue pilots had reported spotting seven other bodies on the slopes.

Our new ¤3m lifeboat named
BALTIMORE RNLI has celebrated the naming of their €3m new Tamar class lifeboat with a gala ceremony in the west Cork fishing village.
The boat was funded through the legacy of Dorothy May Massey (97) who wanted to fund an RNLI boat to be named in honour of her brother, Alan, a former merchant seaman.
The new lifeboat -- which arrived in Baltimore last March -- was formally dedicated on Saturday by Sue Windsor, a long-time friend of the Massey family.
Baltimore RNLI coxswain Kieran Cotter said the local station was delighted with the new boat -- and deeply grateful to all those who had helped fund it.
