The wild side of urban life in Dublin has been captured on camera.
Photographer Michael Finn snapped many of these remarkable images of wildlife around the capital.
His pictures of a sparrow hawk on the roof of a south Dublin home, as well as a kingfisher near Bushy Park, have led to him receiving six awards at this year's Irish Professional Photographers Association Awards.
Tallaght man Michael, who works full-time as a wedding and portrait photographer, says patience is the key to capturing images of a swan in full flight, a puffin looking out over Carlingford Bay and a beautiful jay. "For the red squirrels and the jay, I was in the hide for eight or nine hours."
He is currently seeking sponsorship for publication of a book of prints and exhibition. See www.michaelfinnphotography.com
