Red Cups are coming

TWO Irish entrepreneurs have inked a deal with a multi-billion dollar American company for the exclusive rights to bring the US "Red Cups" phenomenon to Ireland and the UK.

Businessmen Declan Fahy (30) from Meath and Paul Cosgrave (29) from Limerick spotted a gap in the market for the red disposable cups which have a cult following in the US.

The iconic Red Cup sells an astonishing 600 million units a year in the US, and are particularly popular with American college students.

The duo have already won distribution with Tesco, Dunnes Stores, O'Briens Wines and O'Donovan's Off-Licences and just recently obtained listings in the Musgrave group.
