Profits up at Gleeson

THE company behind Tipperary Water recorded a boost in profits last year, despite wider problems in the drinks sector.

M&J Gleeson recorded profits to €4.8m in the year to the end of June 2011, up from €4.5m the previous year.

The company is behind the manufacturing of cider, including Devil's Bit, soft drinks and ice-pops.
