She was once a staple on the Dublin social scene but now Pamela Flood is doting mum to two kids and has another one on the way, she couldn't be happier to swap late night parties for family days together.

The former Miss Ireland (44) is mum to Harrison (4) and Elsie (2) and she has no issue with missing out on stylish soirees for an evening in with her little ones.

"I was at an event a while ago that I had to leave early and walking by the bar, everyone was having a glass of wine or a drink and the me of old would have been like 'Oh I wish I didn't have to leave', but how much things have changed," she said.

"I don't mind coming home, especially when I haven't seen the kids since the morning. It's nice to get back."

While Pamela admits she still enjoys the odd tipple, she has no issue in cutting out alcohol completely now she's expecting her third child.

Next year looks set to be a busy one for her - not only will she have a newborn on her hands but she'll also make her TV return.

The statuesque blonde will film a new series on older mums called Geriatric Mums for TV3, eight years after she left Off The Rails.

"I'm very happy to be back," she said.
