Power City profits up

ELECTRICAL retailer Power City boosted pre-tax profits by 4pc to €5.8m last year.

The company's profits increased despite a 10pc drop in revenues to €69.5m. The figures returned to the Companies Office show that, by September 24, Power City had accumulated profits of €78.4m.

The firm's stores are located in eastern Ireland with Dublin stores at Tallaght, Sallynoggin, Finglas, Coolock and Fonthill.
