Police find twins safe and well

Twins snatched from social services by their mother were safe and well in police protection today after being recovered by officers.

Lincolnshire Police said they located four-year-olds Billy Blu and Vixen Rae Francis, who were taken by their mother, Tamara Dyson, from a care centre in Skegness on Thursday, after a "police operation".

Police had feared the mother might have taken the children out of Britain, and possibly brought them to Ireland.

A man and a woman were arrested and were expected to be questioned today.

Social workers were supposed to be monitoring a visit from their grandmother when the toddlers were taken.
