MODEL Pippa O'Connor Ormond has judged her fair share of ladies' days, but the stylish Dubliner enjoyed a rare day off and had fun at the races the old fashioned way.
The mum of one enjoyed a relaxing post-Christmas day at Leopardstown with her husband Brian yesterday.
For once she was able to admire the style at the course without a scorecard of any kind.
"I'm glad I'm not here working.
"I saw some people who looked amazing but today I'm just going to relax," she told the Diary.
"I'm not going to go fashion spotting at all," she said.
Despite her brother Cian's Olympic success as a show-jumper, Pippa (inset) maintained that when it came down to having a flutter it was all a lucky dip.
Fashion blogger Pippa faced her first Christmas without her mum Louise Mullen, who sadly passed away in October.
"It was relaxed and kind of different but it was nice," she said.
"It's so much hype for one day, isn't it?
"And then it's over and you're like 'oh is that it?'".
Her toddler Ollie didn't have a 'notion' of what was going on she laughed.
"He didn't have a clue but it was great he enjoyed it.
"He opened one present which was a rubber duck and he was happy with that - he hasn't a notion.
"Hopefully he stays that thankful," she continued.
The loved-up couple won't be making any New Year's resolutions this week but have opted to set goals for 2015 instead.
