ONLINE payments group PayPal said that it will create a further 200 new jobs at its European base in Dublin.
The global internet group said that the roles at its European Centre of Excellence in Blanchardstown are in addition to the 350 extra jobs created since 2009.
PayPal currently employs more than 1,350 people at its Blanchardstown site and the new positions will support the European business which contributed to the company achieving its first ever $1bn revenue quarter this year.
The positions are available in customer service, risk operations, financial operations, sales and account management for individuals fluent in English and a second European language. More information about the jobs can be found at www.paypaljobsireland.com.
Louise Phelan (above), VP for Global Customer Services & EMEA Merchant Services, PayPal European Operations, said that the firm has grown substantially in Ireland since it began here in 2003.
"This is the second new jobs announcement we've had this year alone," she said. "We have gone from strength to strength since the official opening of our Centre of Excellence here in Blanchardstown two years ago."
