Partygoer fined over street fight after row

A REVELLER who got into a fight with another man after a friend’s party has been fined for public order offences.

Brian Adams (26) was arrested at the scene when he began fighting again after gardai told him to move on.

Judge David McHugh fined him €150 at Blanchardstown District Court.

Father-of-one Adams, of Rowlagh Avenue, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty to charges of public intoxication and using threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour to cause a breach of the peace.

The court heard the incident happened at Old Lucan Road, Palmerstown, on April 12. Gardai found Adams in an altercation and told him to desist. As he walked away, he approached the other person and became involved in the row again.
