A basketball shirt said to have been worn by Barack Obama when he was at a Honolulu prep school has been auctioned in the US for $120,000 (€108,000).
The shirt was sold to a collector of sports artefacts who did not wish to be identified.
It was offered by Peter Noble (55), who was three years behind the future president at Punahou School.

Mr Noble said the jersey was destined for the bin when he found it. Years later, he saw an old school photo of Mr Obama wearing it.
The Dallas auction house said the shirt matched the one in the photo.
Mr Noble said a portion of the sale will go to the school.
