CHAT show host Graham Norton is set to name and shame the celebrities and their antics which the TV cameras do not see.

Putting pen to paper for the first time in ten years, the Cork man (50) has written a new memoir, The Life and Loves Of A He Devil, following on from his autobiography a decade ago – and it's set to be extremely intimate and revealing.

"When I say this is the most personal thing I've ever written, don't worry it also contains stories about mystery objects found in dog poo and celebrity actress farts," said the BBC1 presenter.

Being published this October in time for the Christmas market, his publisher Hodder & Stoughton, told the Herald "we are very, very excited to be working with him".

Mr Norton split from his partner of two years, 30-year-old fashion consultant Trevor Patterson, last August but despite Mr Patterson's kiss-and-tell, the broadcaster hasn't opened his mouth about the relationship, but it looks like that's about to change with his memoir.

"Graham tells his story from childhood to present day, describing just what and who he loved, and sometimes lost, as a child, and his new loves and obsessions, big and small, as he's grown older," stated the publisher. The Bandon-born star who went from drag performances at the Edinburgh Festival to pulling in 4.5m viewers a week, also talks about his other loves.

"From Dolly Parton and dogs to wine and Ireland, Graham tells his life and loves with characteristic humour and outrageous candour," explained Hodder & Stoughton.

Norton added: "It's been 10 years since I last put fingertip to keyboard. A lot has happened to me since then but being a decade older it strikes me that what makes a life interesting is less what happens to you but more what drives and inspires you. A life of loves."
