NNN The red carpet will be rolled out in Kerry later this month for the fourth Charlie Chaplin comedy film festival. Taking place in Waterville on the Iveragh Peninsula, the event will run from August 21-24. The festival includes a range of events, screenings, workshops and Chaplin-themed street entertainment. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Chaplin's
iconic tramp character and among those attending will be movements artist Dan Kamin, who trained Robert Downey Jnr for his Oscar-nominated performance in the movie Chaplin.

NNN Ireland's first open air gallery will be unveiled in Temple Bar tomorrow evening. Called Outvasion and based at Campton Court, street and stencil artists will be combining their mutual talents for the event, with participants including Morgan, Kemp and Kin MX. Curated by Dublin artist Kemp, the idea behind the project is to give members of the public the chance to see artistic types creating a unique piece of art from start to finish while participants get the ideal forum to show off their work.

NNN The party crew will be heading to Buck Whaley's later this month for the Seat Ibiza 30th celebrations. The car company will be marking the milestone occasion with a 1980's-themed bash, which will see a plethora of leg warmers, shoulder pads and double denim-wearing at the party.

The invite-only event will take place at the Leeson Street club on August 28.

NNN There's just two days left before the Kilkenny Arts Festival kicks off. Running from August 8-17, there's a wide range of events lined up. Highlights include a production from Shakespeare's Globe theatre company as well as a performance by traditional Irish group The Gloaming.
