The National Maternity Hospital (NMH) last night said it would admit mums-to-be from Mount Carmel.
But other worried patients have been advised to call a special hotline – (01) 408- 6966 – for information.
The NMH said in a statement it would be contacting patients within the coming week to make arrangements.
"We will be happy to ensure babies are delivered safely and without causing any anxiety to women," the hospital added.
The NHM also said it had discussed a contingency plan with Mount Carmel, and that consultants at the loss-making hospital would be involved in patients' care during the handover period.
But the liquidators have told the Herald they could not say if patients who had paid would get full refunds.
They said: "The liquidators with liaise with management to ascertain the position in relation to deposits that may be outstanding."
