Niall and 1D excited for homecoming tour

THE wait is nearly over for One Direction fans with tickets for their hotly anticipated tour on sale tomorrow.

Niall Horan himself said he "cannot wait" for the band's Dublin gig in a special message for his legion of fans.

The Mullingar singer will be returning to Ireland and the UK next year after completing an epic global tour.

The boys will hit Dublin's 3Arena on October 16 and 17 next year.

One Direction announced their On The Road Again UK and Ireland tour via a video message to their legion of fans.

"We're really excited to be going back touring at home, where it all started for us," Niall said.

Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan's 18-show tour will include three huge gigs at London's O2 Arena.

Fans will be up early on tomorrow morning to get their hands on tickets for the Irish shows.

Aiken Promotions has warned fans that tickets should only be purchased from official outlets.

They also indicated that "no queuing is permitted at ticket outlets until 7am".

The tour coincides with the boyband's new album Four, which is One Direction's biggest album to date, having hit No 1 on the iTunes chart in 85 countries with sales of over 2 million in just one week.

Tickets - priced from €59.50 to €87.50 - go on sale at 9am tomorrow.
