SHE has turned her hand to an array of different disciplines down the years – modelling, horse-riding and pilates.
And now glamorous Gillian Quinn is ready for the next chapter in her life, training as a psychologist.
The wife of Ireland football legend Niall Quinn is currently in her second year of an undergraduate degree.
And studying is clearly a family affair for the mum of two who told the Herald she uses her study time to bond with her children, who are also hard at the books.
"I'm nearly at the end of my second year," said Gillian. "I'm going to get the undergrad first and see how it goes.
"It's something that always interested me, but the timing was never right because I was riding three or four horses every day, so that took up my time."
The petite brunette also said that daughter Aisling (20) had joined her in giving up modelling in order to concentrate on their studies.
"Neither of us are modelling at the moment, there's just too much pressure, especially for her," Gillian said.
"I have exams in a month.
"We all study together because Ais has her exams coming up in the next 10 days in UCD and Mike has his Leaving Cert next year."
Gillian, who is also a qualified pilates instructor, said that she has given up teaching the discipline as a result of a back injury.
It is a busy time for Niall and Gillian, who are currently looking for a new place to live after putting their Kildare mansion on the market two weeks ago.
Yet to secure a sale, the couple said they are happy with the interest in the house, although some only want to get a look inside the luxury pad, which is surrounded by 30 acres.
