My new show Trending has finally hit screens - just in time for my sister's return

My new show, Trending, started on RTE2 last night and I couldn't be more excited.

When you work on something so closely and it becomes a reality it can be a bit nerve wracking, but I'm delighted with the first episode.

We're filming at the moment so it's very current. I'm spending this weekend filming in Cork and Sligo so we're really making an effort to get outside Dublin and see what people around the country are wearing.

I get great fulfilment from being involved in the creative process since the get-go.

The original concept for the show came from me and that brings so much more to a programme than just being a presenter for hire.

The production company had a viewing party for our friends and family at the Dylan Hotel last night.

It was in the suitably stylish location of the Library bar and it was a very special night.

My sister has just moved home from Australia after living there for two years so it was brilliant to have her there as she's missed these parties.

Earlier in the week, I attended the Attitude Awards in the gorgeous Banqueting Rooms in London.

It was a brilliant night with some fantastic people including Graham Norton, who received the Icon Award For Outstanding Achievement, Naomi Campbell, Tom Daley - who was named Man Of The Year - the newly-married Steve Jones, Ella Henderson and Paloma Faith, both of whom performed.

Panti was being honoured with the Editor's Special Award and she looked amazing.

She gave the most incredible speech and she had everyone rolling around on the floor laughing.

It was very poignant as well, though, and she got two standing ovations.

I think Jonathan Ross took a bit of a shine to her and she was in lots of pictures with Graham Norton, Dr Christian Jessen and the other celebs there.

While everyone hit the dance floor at the after party, the highlight of the night for me was chatting with Boy George.

I was also at the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year where I caught up with some of my favourite specs-wearers as I hosted the red carpet at the swanky event in central London.

Kimberley Walsh made her first official outing since having baby Bobby, who was tucked away upstairs in a hotel room. She's such a beauty and wow, what a voice.
