Mrs Brown's Boys star Rory Cowan is busy filming the show's two Christmas specials but he took some time out to reveal that he'll be playing one of the ugly sisters in this year's panto at the Tivoli Theatre.
Rory will star in Cinderella where he will jumping into some high heels and crazy outfits to delight audiences this Christmas.
"We started filming today for Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas Specials", Rory said.
"There are some great surprises in store. Just wait 'til you see what Rory gets up to this time.
"When I get back to Dublin I will be straight into rehearsals for my role in The Cheerios panto as the ugly sister Barby or 'Barbs' to her friends, not that she has any," he laughed.
Auditions for the part of Cinderella were held recently and details of the full cast are due to be released in the coming weeks.
Cinderella takes to the stage at the Tivoli on Francis Street from December 10 to January 11, 2015 and tickets are on sale now.
However, it's going to be a busy new year for Rory as the Mrs Brown's Boys show will be heading on a world wide tour.
"We're doing the two Christmas specials this month and then we're back on the road in March - finishing in Dublin doing six shows in the 3 Arena," Rory told the Diary.
"That finishes on December 19 next year, and the year after we're off to tour Australia, New Zealand and Canada."
Unfortunately, for fans there were no new episodes of Mrs Brown's Boys in 2014 aside from the Christmas specials and with the tour it's not yet known if there will be new episodes in 2015.
