MODEL Roz Purcell was back on set this week filming an ad for Newbridge jewellery after her previous appearance for the brand was deemed too provocative for Irish audiences.

The 24-year-old starred in an online video last year that showed her in skimpy clothing showing off jewellery from the eShe range.

The in-demand model and fitness fanatic was chosen over Amy Huberman, who is the current face of the silverware company.

However, on the back of a single complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland (ASAI) the company was forced to edit scenes out of the two-minute clip.

The scenes included images of Roz in a split-to-the waist kimono and another where she was pictured dipping her finger into a cocktail. The ASAI said that the poses struck by the model were "overtly sexual in nature".

The latest campaign is due to be released in March.

Stylist Courtney Smith was on-hand again to style the former Miss Universe Ireland.

A spokesperson for the company told the Herald that this year's campaign would try to capture the same elements as before.

"We are having fun with it," she said. "Roz embodies the fun, sexy vibe and that's what we're looking for."

She said the company "never wanted to offend anybody".
