Conor McGregor's long-term girlfriend always knew he was going to be a success.
Conor won his latest Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fight against Dennis Siver in Boston on Sunday night and will take on the UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo in May.
Dee Devlin from Walkinstown was in Boston to cheer on her other half.
"He's always been super confident, we always knew this was going to happen - it was nearly like we were predicting the future," she said,
"It's weird for me to say but we just always knew he was going to get to this level and every few months it just keeps going and going and going and the sky is the limit."
Dee also revealed she and Conor have been blown away by the support and promotion of his fight in Boston.
"Conor definitely gets recognised here, everyone is really accommodating - it's like he's one of their own really. They're taking really good care of him," she said.
"The last time we were in Boston, Conor was on the undercard. We weren't expecting anything like what we were hit with when we came here.
"He's on billboards, there's buses with Conor on the side of them, there's bins with his face on them and stuff, it's really good," she told Fansided.
Dee also admitted that she still gets very nervous on fight nights.
"I find I'm more nervous now - the first time I went to see Conor fight there was 50 people in a room, and I thought 'There's no way you can be more nervous than this' but each time it's just getting that more and more nerve-wracking," she said.
"Especially watching someone you care about getting in the ring - it definitely gets me in the gut I have to say.
"On the day of a fight I can't eat. I'm a ball of nerves but as soon as I see him [in the stadium], I know he's going to be fine.
"I see how calm he is and I just know he has it in the bag then," she added.
UFC President Dana White has said that McGregor (26) and Aldo will square-off in a high-profile title bout in Las Vegas in around four months time.
No date has been set but it looks like it could take place on May 23.
Meanwhile, a brand new series of Conor's TV show, The Notorious will start on RTE2 on next Monday at 10pm.
The show will reveal behind-the-scenes footage with his family and document his training regime.
