Man faces charge on €15k heist

A MAN has appeared in court charged with stealing over €15,000 of jewellery in a house burglary.

Augustine Juravle (29) has been ordered to sign on daily at his local garda station for the duration of the trial.

Judge Hugh O'Donnell adjourned the matter to a date in November for DPP's directions on the charge.

Juravle, of Ardmore Avenue, North Circular Road, Dublin 7, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court.

The alleged incident took place at a house at Luttrellstown View in Castleknock at an unknown time between June 20 and June 21, 2008.

It is alleged that Juravle made off with €15,000 worth of jewellery in the burglary.

Judge O'Donnell remanded Juravle, who is originally from Romania, on bail in his own bond.

The court heard that Juravle is unemployed and on social welfare.
