A 30-year-old man has admitted killing a 25-year-old man in Co Meath.
Mariusz Jarosz of Fitzherbert Wood, Navan, Co Meath pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to the manslaughter of David Mazur at The Glebe, Cherryvalley, Rathmoylan on January 6, 2011.
Mr Justice Paul Carney at the Central Criminal Court directed the preparation of a victim impact report before the sentencing on June 18.

FOUR out of five homicides go unpunished in Mexico, in part because prosecutors and police focus on less serious crimes that are easier to solve, a think-tank said.
In the border state of Chihuahua, researchers found 96.4pc of killings go unpunished. That compares to what the study calls an unenviably high nationwide average of around 80pc.
Canada brothel ban is binned
A BAN on brothels puts prostitutes at risk and is unconstitutional, the top court in Ontario has ruled.
"The world in which street prostitutes operate is a world of dark streets and barren, isolated, silent places," said the five-judge panel. "It is a dangerous world, with the risk of violence and death."
The Ontario Court of Appeal said sex workers should be allowed to work safely indoors. The province's government has a year to rewrite the law if it chooses.
