A case involving a Dublin man accused of having illegal guns and over 400 rounds of ammunition in his northside home has been adjourned until March 29 next.
Philip Hendrick (35) is also charged with possession of cocaine at Mellowes Road, Finglas, as well as having the drugs for sale or supply on February 7 last year.
He is also charged with possession of 15 rounds of .22 Long Rifle calibre ammunition, 281 rounds of 8mm Fiocchi ammunition and 192 rounds of .22 Starting Pistol ammunition without a valid licence. He is further accused of possession of an ME8 handgun and two Brigadier handguns, contrary to Section 2 of the Firearms Act 1971.
Hendrick is also charged under the Explosive Substances Act with having two flares at his home at Crannoge Close, Poppintree, Ballymun, on February 2, 2010.
In the Circuit Criminal Court, Judge Anthony Hunt granted a Section 56 evidence order to Mr Hendrick's lawyers and remanded him on continuing bail to March 29 next when the case will be mentioned again.
