Man accused of imprisonment

A DUBLIN man has been sent for trial charged with falsely imprisoning a woman nearly three years ago.

Conor McMahon (23) had a book of evidence served on him at Blanchardstown District Court.

McMahon, with an address at Shancastle Avenue, Clondalkin, is alleged to have falsely imprisoned a woman at Louisa Valley, Leixlip, Co Kildare, on December 27, 2010.

Judge David McHugh gave the defendant the formal notice that he must provide within 14 days to the prosecution details of any alibi he intends to rely on in the course of his trial.

He then returned Mr McMahon to the next sittings of Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. The defendant was remanded on continuing bail.

JOEY Essex shows he has become a real golden boy – by being coated from head to foot in glistening paint.

The I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! star emulated the famous look of actress Shirley Eaton when she fell foul of villain Goldfinger in the 1960s James Bond film.

Essex ditched his usual spray tan for a golden paint job to earn a crust in a promotion for PizzaExpress.
