Luas plans free trips for festivals

FREE Luas tickets are on offer to a summer skateboard festival in Dublin city.

The Railway Procurement Agency says it is supporting "a number of events" this summer aimed at encouraging people to enjoy mostly free activities in the city.

The latest sees Luas partnering with Kings of Concrete, which is being held in association with Dublin City Council.

The RPA is offering 1,000 free Luas tickets for the July 3-4 event for anyone travelling to the festival in Wood Quay.

The tickets are adult one-day all zones tickets, valued for unlimited travel on both Red and Green Luas lines

The tickets will be issued one per person on a first come, first served basis by contacting infro@luas.ie while stocks last.

Anyone going to Kings of Concrete can take the Luas to the Four Courts stop on the Red Line or St Stephens Green stop on the Green Line.
